These were the issues our elected representatives determined to be of more importance than American citizens. When are we going to wake up as a nation and begin putting pressure on our representatives as a single force? Our elected representatives did nothing before their 5 week break, and have now shown America just how much they care about American citizens...they needed to name a couple of federal and state buildings and pass legislation making it illegal to recruit minors for military purposes before addressing our energy independence issue.
I don't know about y'all, but I haven't heard of any entities here in the U.S. recruiting minors for military purposes. So why is our elected representatives passing legislation regarding actions by citizens in foreign countries? Is passing legislation in the United States going to be enforceable in another country? How is a United States federal law going to change activities in foreign countries?
What the hell is our government doing?
Safe Trails and God Bless, Frederick (SilverSurfer) Schaffner
